Dr. Tronica Horse Acupressure
Dr. Tronica Vanzant is a double board-certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist who specializes in pain, fatigue, anxiety, and chronic health challenges.
She previously held leadership positions at large technology, consulting, and aerospace companies. The extreme duress of weekly travel, extended long work hours under high-pressure conditions, working on multiple $100 billion projects as a consultant at Accenture, and while pregnant, led her to experience both adrenal fatigue and anemia-induced depression during pregnancy and post-partum.
She understands firsthand how issues like thyroid and adrenal dysfunction, and blood circulation problems not only contribute to chronic pain, fatigue, depression, and anxiety, but can also keep these conditions from resolving when the underlying root causes are not addressed.
Dr. Vanzant started her foray into Chinese Medicine with a nudge from her father, who was a longtime user of acupuncture for his chronic back pain. She started by learning equine acupressure for the benefit of her ailing dressage horse Gus. The benefits she saw for her own horse and those of neighbors and friends led her to go back to school to become a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist.
Even in her early career in technology, Dr. Vanzant has always cared about how people feel, function, and relate to one another. She believes that when we are in pain physically or emotionally, feel overwhelmed or ungrounded, it’s tough to show up and participate fully in our jobs, with our families and friends, and in life, and we all benefit when each of us is able to bring our full abilities to what we are passionate about.
Dr. Vanzant is available by appointment only on Saturdays 9AM-5PM. Please call in to schedule or book online.
